Where you come up with your player characters's names?
Mine-no idea, just made if for one of my characters and now use it for any game for my main..... I like it, so I use it. I was surprised that I saw others with it also since as far as i know it is original.
If I get a surname like in DAoC I used Lagsalot!

Most of mine are based on medevil or fantasy...well all but for sockless...i wasn't wearing socks at the time and needed a name fast.

My hunter Mahdeib was taken straight from the dune books, but with a bit different spelling.
My paladin Aaesop is well named after the famous fable writer.
Rayine was named that because for a druid I wanted something elemental.

I was feeling wacky when I made my first character and later just arbitrarily decided on a naming scheme for the rest of them, following that pattern set by that first one: 6 letters, must end in 'th'.
So I have:
Taryth (tauren shammie)
Tunath (tauren druid)
Razeth (belf mage)
Kharth (undead priest)
Gyrath (orc rogue)
Maryth (belf warlock)
Syneth (belf paladin)
Kaketh (tauren hunter)
